Your Dream Home Requires Orchestrated Vision

Here are my top TIPS to accomplish a fabulous outcome when building a new home:

  1. Invest on Structural Elements you will Use and Enjoy Everyday. Think about your bathroom fixtures, floors around the house, and light fixtures that will set the mood.

  2. Design with a Comprehensive Approach. Do not stop on the floor plans and paint colors. Get a vision of how each room would work for you and prioritize how you would like to feel in each space - then, plan for all elements to fit in the space before drywall goes up. For example: Would you like to enjoy soft lights coming from your built-in bookshelves in the family room? Then add an electrical connection during construction. Do not wait until elements are installed to then make changes.

  3. Decorate with Intention. Think about adding a wall-to-wall delicious carpet in your walk-in closet and save money on flooring installation. Reinforce the wall around your bedroom windows so then you can install beautiful double drapes with a black out option and a sumptuous fabric that will last for years. The decorative layer must be taken into account since the beginning of construction - do not delay this part of the process.

  4. Create an Orchestrated Vision and Outcome. Skip decision fatigue and rely on experts that will help you navigate the important details of a new home. Think of it as an orchestra that should answer to your needs in unison. Your builder brings the expertise on the basic layer of the home and a designer by your side is crucial to assure the spaces will reflect your style and bring you joy for years to come. Would you like to have a seamless move? Let’s coordinate the use of space with a professional organizer. Do you love rose bushes? Let’s consult with a landscaper so we can see them through your kitchen window. You get the picture.

  5. Find your Lifestyle Curator. Now, this is the most important one. Every single decision on a new home must answer to your specific lifestyle and needs and help you elevate your daily life. This is my specialty. Let me be your personal “Lifestyle Curator” and navigate the intricate part of floor plans and structural selections so you rest assure that your investments are well made. And of top of that, that the home design is planned with intention so it flows smoothly with all the decorative elements around the house to create a place that’s ready to enjoy and share for years to come.
