Welcome to the white version of my living room!

I've been working on transforming this area and it obviously takes time. Budget, decisions, getting things in and out. It is a process. First things first tho, we changed the couch for a much needed bright one! Yay! I'm loving it and it obviously made me move things around.

I got rid of our black coffee table and brought this white tufted ottoman from my home office.

TIP --> If you ever come across a storage ottoman you like, get it! They are one of the most versatile pieces you can have at home - this one hides extra sheets and pillow covers ;)

Just place a tray on top and add your favorite accessories! Coasters and your favorite scented candle to make it work like - a very comfortable - coffee table. Plus it makes everything else feel brighter and lighter! I'm loving having it here until I find the perfect replacement. Don't forget to check all the links above for details on my selections for chic decor pieces :)

Do you like all-white rooms? I'm going to enjoy this one for a while. Stay tuned! xx.

DRAMATIC LIVING ROOM by Splendor Styling

Happy Monday, love!

I want to share a bit more about a fun event I participated in last week. My friend Elizabeth brought 4 artists and 4 designers to combine their talents and create fabulous designs using westelm pieces! I was so excited when she invited me to be part of it - you know westelm is one of my favorite places to go when it comes to put a room together ;)

The DC Art x Design night was so much fun! Lots of creativity and my favorite designers in one place. Even better, I got to meet and work with a fantastic artist in the area, Kristin G. Endsley. When I saw her pieces, I couldn't even decide which one was my favorite. They were all SO GOOD! In the end, I went for this beautiful piece you can see above called Skateboard and created a dramatic living area based on its beautiful shapes and colors.

Black walls, tons of gray and gold, and some chic pops of color - I adore that teal! I'm still so in love with this design, and I wanted to share with you some of the pieces I used to make it happen. They are all current ones and you can find them in the links above ;)

What do you think?! Would you use them to transform your space too? Let me know which one is your favorite! xx.

The fab gang

Hi darling!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend! It was a very well-deserved and needed long weekend for me. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you might have seen my latest collaboration with Crystorama. They contacted me as they were interested on sharing my home office / guest room as part of their COMPLETE THE LOOK series!

They selected these 3 fab options as possible light fixtures to use in my space. We got more than 500 responses and I promised I was going to share the winner! So, here it goes:

A bit of #bling for a small space that I use every day. It would amazing to have some "room jewelry" in my office. Shall I do it? What do you think?! :)

Have a Splendid Day! xx.
